  1. The Don says:

Any chance of a rundown of tomorrow’s final like last year’s, Stu?
I heard on 3D this morning that Cat Power may be feeling a bit conflicted tomorrow…

  2. Stu says:

I was struggling to come up with an angle this year actually …. can’t believe I didn’t think of Cat Power! That’s a good one.

  3. Derek says:

Via Tania gets a four-star review for her second album “Moon Sweet Moon” in today’s SMH. I haven’t heard her stuff. Did you know she’s Tania Bower, formerly of the band Spdfgh?

  4. Stu says:

Yes, I knew about that, SPDFGH were great. I was keen to see her, but I’m already going to Bill Callahan that night.

  5. Pippa says:

    Hey!

what happened – where did you go? It’s almost the end of October and you haven’t posted for the last month!

So, I’ve been lurking for a while and getting my fix of what shows are on since I’ve stopped listening to the radio or reading street press…

Anyway, due to your encyclopedic knowledge of cycling, climate change and local music, I was wondering if you’d be interested in writing for http://www.radelai.de? More info here: http://battlecat.net/index.php/2007/10/19/radelaide/

    cheers,

    Pippa

(sorry if you can’t find it – I’m waiting for the dns settings to propagate)

  6. Stu says:

Hi Pippa, thanks for your interest. It’s been a mixture of moving house, doing election campaigning for the Greens and working that has kept me away from the blog.
I may be a bit busy for a bit yet but I’ll at least make an effort to get a gig guide post done and I’ll check out your site.
