Playlist 04.12.05 (9:08 pm)
Starting with a beautiful “mashup cover” by the lovely Mara Carlyle tonight - or rather, one of the songs she covers, followed by her song, followed by the other one she uses. Hurrah! Later, talked about the nowNOW Festival with Clayton Thomas (bass player extraordinaire and co-curator) and Adrian Klumpes (keyboard/piano in Triosk/Pivot) and new music from Kid 606, Rusuden and DJ C among other goodies… Amerie - One Thing [Sony] 5 Responses to “Playlist 04.12.05”Leave a Reply |

Hi “Katie”,
Yep Tanya Horo is playing @ the Excelsior in Glebe on the 11th of December. That’s a Sunday! An early show I believe, 5-7pm, supporting House of Kings… Definitely worth checking out, but do be aware that at the moment they haven’t incorporated the electronic element into the live show. Great songs though, regardless.
Jack Ladder, as I think I also mentioned on the show, is supporting Triosk @ the Mandarin Club on Friday week, the 16th of December. A highly recommended night, much wonderful music.
Note to posters: Katie didn’t give a valid email address, which makes me wonder how real “she” is. I’m putting up these details anyway because, hell, I like the artists. However, as is abundantly clear from the commenting system, your email address will not be revealed. So from now on I will reply to all comments first, and if the email bounces, I will delete the comment. No spamming of this blog will be tolerated.
Thank you.
