There's plenty of others, as evidenced by the thread, but this is my list, m'kay? ;)
Hence the absence of BBK and Mogwai :P

Well there's a couple of others, amongst a few, I'd throw in, Super Furry Animals' Radiator and Four Knocks by Pendulum (the other one).

I must get hold of that Undies album!
From what I've heard of that YLT album I was underwhelmed, but still, yeah.
And Stereolab, well I'm not sure but the post-Bacharachian songwriting always used to annoy me.
I forgot about that FSA album, that's great yup!

Ta for all these Stu, awesome :)

I agree about it being a year for idm (took me a while to catch on though), but there was still some indie goodness lurking about:
Underground Lovers "Ways T'Burn" - their later stuff is underappreciated
Sleater-Kinney "Dig Me Out"
Yo La Tengo "I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One"
Stereolab "Dots and Loops"
Will Oldham "Joya"
Built to Spill "Perfect From Now On"
Kim Salmon & The Surrealists "Ya Gotta Let Me Do My Thing"
Flying Saucer Attack "New Lands"
Ed Kuepper "With a Knapsack on My Back"
Broadcast "Work and Non-Work"
Bluebottle Kiss "Somnabulist Homesick Blues"
