Note the (no doubt deliberately snarky) imprecation to “stay away from genre fiction”… Given that I read almost exclusively genre fiction (quite literally), and have never studied literature (well, except at school, where I did abominably in HSC 2Unit English) all I can say is BOO YAH SUX and other such erudite phrases.
Hm.

   Not only do you know your subjects from your objects and your definite from your indefinite articles, but you’ve got quite a handle on the literature and the history of the language as well. Huzzah, and well done! The English snobs of Boston salute you.

   Strangely, the comparison to other people with my age and gender said I was only better than 52% on erudtion. Either their stats are screwy, you took this test before many other (non-erudite) people tried, or you’ve got a really wacky age and/or gender!

   Wow. I suck! Ok… so I read way less than one book/year which doesn’t help. I still get ‘The librarian’ even with only 65% erudition. I only beat 12%. Clearly, I am truly wordular.

   Was fun to do :-)
