Not Happy, John (10:34 pm)
Margo has an excellent letter from a disaffected Liberal farmer to her (Liberal) MP, explaining that although she is thankful for the work he’s done for his electorate, she can’t vote for him this time, because she can’t countenance a vote towards Johnny Howard. And she lists her reasons, a rather wonderful exhaustive (well indeed, not even nearly exhaustive, despite its length) list of grievances with our beloved PM. I’ve been thinking lately about what I’ll be saying to Liberal voters if I’m handing out Green how-to-votes on election day, and this list is a good place to start with my own! Will this be in Wentworth? Could be pretty entertaining, aside from the lengthy periods of tedium…
