Sw;tch Lansdowne sessions (9:35 pm)
Red means edited later. The post above, except for the Mulch link, was sent direct from my mobile phone, which I used to take that photo with its camera in “Night mode” (hence the mottled look). On the table you can see my Evolution MK-225C USB keyboard, which I use for the 8 MIDI knobs rather than the 2-octave keyboard, as well as my Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop (I really don’t think that needs a link). I sat on the chair next to the table, on top of my coat and jumper (damn’ low chairs at pubs!) and played the cello, which went into the Sound In, got processed to buggery in AudioMulch, went out of the laptop in stereo and thence to the mixing desk. I mixed in some samples from the hard drive as well. It was a very fun improv session, and for a horrible rainy night there were quite a few people there. I’m sure the nights will progress into something really happening - and next time I’m playing I’ll blog it well before.
